Frequently Asked Questions
When should the pool deck get power washed?
The following is the best plan to have the deck power washed without adding more work / cost to your pool opening or cleanings:
-
Schedule to have the deck power washed prior to opening the pool.
-
Have Endless Summer remove the pool cover several days before the power washing appointment.
-
Open the pool, then complete the first cleaning.
Do I have to drain the pool to have my pool lights repaired?
No, not typically. Behind the light fixture, there is a niche that holds the light cord. Almost always, there is enough cord to place the fixture on the deck to replace bulbs and gaskets safely. If a light fixture needs replaced, this can also be done with water in the pool. The big issue in both of these instances is if the pool water is very cold, as our staff has to place some or all of their body in the water to safely complete these repairs. We like to perform these tasks when the water is warm, either by heater or environment.
How often do you service our pool?
We only offer weekly service to our residential maintenance customers. We found that any other frequency does not provide the level of service that our customers expect. For every swimming pool, the following items need addressed at LEAST one time per week: check and adjust water chemistry, empty all skimmer and trap baskets, clean the filter, inspect the mechanicals, clean the pool and or clean the robot cleaner.
Do you work holidays?
Endless Summer is closed on national holidays. We adjust our schedule so that all of our pools are serviced each week. You will receive an email a week or several days prior with information on any necessary changes to your scheduled service day.
What happens if someone gets sick or has an accident in our pool?
First, close the pool to swimmers. Second, call or email our office, 614.530.3541 or info@endlesssummerpool.com , so that we can have our staff safely treat the water right away.
Do I have a set time for my pool maintenance each week?
We will always come on the same day each week, with the exception of national holidays. The time may fluctuate each week depending on staffing, weather, and other appointments added to our schedule.
When do you add chemicals?
We add chemicals as needed, after completing our manual test readings.
How many pools do you service each week?
We service more than 100 pools each day. Each of our techs service 8-10 pools each day, depending on location, routing, the tech’s expertise, and weather.
